Job description

As Inside Sales you are responsible for the daily support of sales & marketing activities within the Business Unit. Together with colleagues from the Business Unit you work on efficient marketing and inventory management. You have frequent contact with your own sales team, customers and suppliers and you guarantee a qualitatice service.

Your responsibilities can be regrouped under four major parts:

Sales support:

  • You offer large support to the Business Unit by maintaining and expanding the existing business;
  • You manage the inventory and monitor purchases;
  • You follow up price quotations and samples, manage documentation, technical sheets and samples;
  • You perform marketing research in consultation with the Business Unit Manager;
  • You discover new opportunities for customers and you actively think about improving service quality;
  • You act as the point of contact for suppliers, existing and potential customers regarding operational matters;

Relationship Management:

  • You maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and suppliers in a proactive manner;
  • For certain suppliers, you coordinate internally with colleagues from other business units;
  • You coordinate communication between the internal organization, sister companies, customers, suppliers and all other parties involved (internal and external);
  • You coordinate communication between the Business Unit and the Customer Service;

Administration:

  • You take care of and guide the administrative process of price calculations and quotation preparation in consultation with the Account / Product Manager;
  • You maintain communication with customers / prospects;
  • You take care of the preparation of sales reports to suppliers;
  • You control customer credit limits and inventory limits with reporting to the Business Unit Manager;
  • You ensure correct administration in the CRM system;

HSEQ:

  • You are aware of the applicable procedures of the quality assurance system and the applicable laws and regulations;
  • You ensure strict compliance with the procedures of the quality assurance system;
  • You report to the Business Unit Manager and you work together with the Account Manager, possibly the Area Manager and the Business Unit Manager.

Your profile

  • You have an excellent command in Dutch, French and English;
  • You have at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience;
  • You know what prioritizing and following up means. For you these are not empty words but "your way of working";
  • You have previously worked successfully in a commercial position;
  • You are a team player who also functions independently;
  • You have a proactive and commercial view of things;
  • You don't panic when it's busy;
  • You like to work in a result-oriented way;
  • You have experience with ERP systems;
